This report is really frightening to me. I am 72, husband 74. We live with our 3 daughters, and 2 grandchildren. My daughters have received the vaccine, (1 is immunocompromised) and she has had the boosters as well as my husband and myself. One grandchild has been vaccinated 3 times, the other refuses, and she was hospitalized with Covid. The longer this goes on the more uneasy I get. I am thankful we have managed to stay healthy, but I am uncomfortable with taking so many vaccines. My hair has fallen out, and I believe it is due to the vaccines. A few more, and I will be bald. I know (rather bald, and healthy) than the alternative. I have 3rd stage kidney disease, and my husband has had a heart attack, but no major damage. I wear a mask EVERYTIME I leave my house, as well as my husband. Thank you so much for keeping us informed. I believe the CDC, as well as The White House has left us on our own.

Glad your family is OK. Thank you for the update, and I agree with all you said!

I do not find the community transmission levels map with the mostly red levels when I click on the map in the newsletter. Has CDC taken it down or am I not filtering properly? Thanks.

The CDC website often defaults to the Community Level (hospitalizations, not transmission) map Clicking the map here did bring me to the Transmission map though.

I need to travel to Ga to clean out a storage unit. I’d planned to go next week just after 4th, but some of my bros friends have Covid and you say numbers are trending up. I’m technically elderly though I’m fairly healthy. Any advice on how to time this trip-early fall?

Maybe try looking on a desktop rather than a phone? They show on my phone and desktop.
