Well, cases continue to rise as they have been for the last month. Every week I come to write this newsletter and I feel like I’m repeating myself. Things are growing more intense, make good decisions. Let’s go through the data.

In a month’s time, the number of counties in the high or substantial category went from 26% to 64% of counties in the US.
It doesn’t quite jive with the narrative we’re hearing from politicians and media that COVID-19 is “endemic.”
Endemic means low-level of disease below epidemic threshold. But this isn’t low levels of disease anymore. The talking heads aren’t adjusting their talking points to the changing disease transmission landscape. They are continuing to gaslight everyone into thinking everything is fine. Things are not fine. People are being hurt who don’t need to be hurt.
